Shortcovers Mobile is the mobile strategy for Indigo's eBook initiative. To take advantage of surprisingly higher conversion rates on cell phones, Shortcovers has created applications to read eBooks on smartphones such as the iPhone, the Blackberry Bold, Storm and Curve, as well as Google's Android OS, and the new Palm Pre.
Released in January of 2009, the iPhone app has received positive coverage from the Wall Street Journal, Wired, and the New York Times.
